gamera-gui software package provides GUI for the Gamera framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gamera-gui
gamera-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gamera-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gamera-gui *
You will get with gamera-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
